Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GetInstantEstimate.com (the "Site") and the estimate and contractor-matching service we provide (the "Service"), operated by Kings Supply, LLC ("GetInstantEstimate," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. What GetInstantEstimate Does
GetInstantEstimate.com lets homeowners answer a short set of questions about a home service project and receive an instant, calculated price estimate. We then connect you with the independent local service professional we've matched to your area and the service you requested. As of this beta, the Service covers carpet cleaning in Prince William County, Virginia only, matched to JCB Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to request service at the property in question to use the Site.
4. Estimates Are Not Final Quotes
The price shown to you is calculated from the information you provide and standard assumptions about typical job size (for example, that a room is roughly 500 sq ft or less, and that only light furniture needs to be moved). It is an estimate, not a binding quote. Unusual room sizes, heavy furniture, carpet condition, or other job-specific factors may change the final price. Your matched contractor will confirm the actual price with you before any work begins, and only that confirmed price is binding.
5. Independent Contractors
Contractors matched through GetInstantEstimate.com — including JCB Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning — are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or franchisees of GetInstantEstimate.com. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee the quality of any home service work. Any agreement for services, and any payment for those services, is directly between you and the contractor. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for the contractor's work, scheduling, pricing changes, or conduct.
6. No Guarantee of Response Time or Availability
We facilitate the introduction between you and a matched contractor. We do not guarantee a specific response time, that the contractor will be available, or that the contractor will accept your job (for example, jobs that are unusually large, in poor condition, or outside the contractor's service area may be declined).
7. Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate information when requesting an estimate. Submitting false information (including a fake service address, name, or contact information) may result in your request being declined or your access to the Site being restricted.
8. Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting a request, you consent to be contacted by phone and/or email as described in the specific consent statements presented on our form, and in our Privacy Policy. Your consent choices are recorded separately for phone contact and for ongoing marketing email — you may give one, both, or neither, and either can be withdrawn at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Promotional Offers
From time to time a matched contractor may offer a promotion (for example, a discount on a first cleaning). Offers are set by the individual contractor, may change or end without notice, and are subject to any additional terms the contractor states directly to you.
10. Intellectual Property
The Site, including its design, text, and underlying pricing tools, is owned by GetInstantEstimate.com or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Site without our permission.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and Service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that estimates will be accurate, that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any contractor will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetInstantEstimate.com and Kings Supply, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Service, or from any interaction, agreement, or dispute with a matched contractor. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or Service will not exceed $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GetInstantEstimate.com harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with a matched contractor.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Resolving Disputes
If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us directly so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can't resolve it that way, either party may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and each party consents to that jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new date. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
